Synopsis

In 2007, an in-depth restoration project started on the España Building, one of the most prominent buildings of downtown Madrid, which was a symbol of prosperity during decades of Franco’s regime. Over two hundred workers from dozens of different countries of origin take part in the works, generating unusual anecdotes and linking their experiences to the building’s ongoing history. A huge Tower of Babel that will carry the traces of our time.
